The Defibtech Lifeline AED is
a rugged and user-friendly automated external defibrillator, or AED. It is designed for use by both professional rescuers and laypeople, with clear voice prompts and an ergonomic design for ease of use in emergencies.
The Lifeline is available in semi-automatic (press the shock button when prompted) and fully automatic (delivers the shock automatically) versions.

Batteries
The Lifeline AED features two long-life, non-rechargeable battery options. A separate 9V lithium battery powers the unit\’s self-tests.

Electrodes and data
- Adult Electrodes (DDP-100): For patients 8 years or older or weighing more than 55 lbs (25 kg). Have a shelf life of approximately two years.
- Child/Infant Electrodes (DDP-200P): For patients less than 8 years old or under 55 lbs. The AED automatically reduces the energy level when these pads are connected.
- Data Recording: Data is automatically recorded to a standard SD card and can be retrieved for later review.
