The RICOH Ri 2000 is a hybrid Direct-to-Garment (DTG) and Direct-to-Film (DTF) industrial textile printer, designed for high-volume apparel customization. It features dual print carriages for faster single-pass printing and an array of automated maintenance features to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
Performance and specifications
- Print heads: Eight genuine Ricoh piezoelectric print heads, with one carriage dedicated to white ink and the other to CMYK colors.
- Resolution: Up to 1200 x 1200 dpi for sharp, vibrant images.
- Maximum print area: Up to 16 x 19.6 inches (40.6 x 49.8 cm) with the optional large platen.
- Typical print speed (10″ x 8″ graphic):
- Light garments: As fast as 9 seconds in Super Speed mode.
- Dark garments: As fast as 54 seconds in Super Speed mode.
- Printable substrates: Prints on 100% cotton, high-cotton blends, 100% light polyester, up to 50/50 dark polyester, wood, and canvas.
- DTF capability: The hybrid functionality allows printing on DTF film for transfer to a wide variety of substrates.

- Automatic height adjustment: A laser-assisted system automatically adjusts the table height for optimal print quality on substrates up to 1.2 inches (30 mm) thick.
